ABOUT ME
Bryan-Keyth Wilson is an award-winning author, playwright, director, and choreographer of Cuban and Louisiana Creole descent, known for his groundbreaking work in choreopoems and contemporary musical theatre. His work centers the complexity of identity, legacy, and liberation through a dynamic fusion of poetry, movement, and music, creating visceral, culturally resonant experiences. A recipient of the Paterson Performing Arts & Development Council Playwright Residency Award and winner of the Fulton Theatre’s Stories of Diversity Festival, Wilson’s acclaimed choreopoem FOR COLORED BOYZ on the verge of a nervous breakdown/ when freedom ain’t enuff has earned multiple literary awards and a sold-out Off-Broadway showcase. He is currently developing the musical Black Icarus and the song cycle Space B’tween the Starz.
